Become a participant in our Climate Smart Engineering projects that ignites young
minds in the Nairobi Metropolitan District to become eco-warriors! Form your group that
will compete with other brilliant young minds by designing and building a project
focused on sustainability, renewable energy, or environmental friendliness. All projects
should be prepared using readily available materials within their communities.

Why participate?
 Make a difference: Kids ideas have the potential to impact the world! Develop solutions
that could conserve energy, reduce pollution, or even help communities.
 Be creative: The possibilities are endless! Designing anything from eco-friendly gadgets,
mini power machines, to sustainable homes.
 Learn and grow: Young people will gain valuable skills in problem-solving, critical
thinking, and communication as they present projects to a panel of judges.
 Win amazing prizes: Top three projects will receive exciting awards, exposure to real
life climate smart companies, recognizing hard work and ingenuity.

Who can participate?
Any school within the Metropolitan Area Nairobi, Kiambu, Muranga, Kajiado and
Machakos is welcome to join! We encourage club or group participation.
